Club Sale - Supporters' Involvement?

4 January 2023
We are aware that the co-owners of Gloucester City AFC have announced that the club is up for sale. They have suggested that an unnamed prospective buyer may be interested in working more closely with the club's supporters and possibly some sort of potential joint ownership, fan-held stake or other increased fan involvement in running the club.
This is a very exciting development for Gloucester City AFC and the Trust is discussing with fans and others what opportunities this may bring. Our existing Trust would well placed to facilitate this process as it is already a registered Community Benefit Society able to hold assets including shares of another company, and a democratic constitution to give members a say over Trust decisions.
A further statement will be made when further information is available.
