The Trust has been busy over the summer break, working hard to support the Football Club, the new ownership and management team and trying to identify ways we can help our members to enjoy the season ahead.
During the close season the Trust has agreed to contribute donations of:
£2,000 to the Football Club to directly help with the renovation of the club house bar and other related facility improvements .
£500 for purchase of equipment in our stadium's new media room. This new kit will help improve the quality and output of the club's social media and in-house produced material. The Trust felt our supporters will benefit greatly from this improved communication and enjoy more media content being available to them.
Worked with the new owners to improve the matchday experience of fans and agree benefits to our supporters, including a readily adopted suggestion of 10% discount on matchday stadium drinks and in the club shop for season ticket holders.
Many Trust members have also been volunteering at the Tiger Turf stadium to carry out a whole host of maintenance and cleaning tasks to get the ground fit for our supporters to enjoy visiting over the coming campaign. Board members have co-ordinated some activity days and helped Patrick and Nicky Chambers with the major renovations of the club house and bar area.
Removed and cut back weeds and growth from around the ground
Cleared out old clutter and rubbish from storage areas
Supported a weekly cleaning team for the club house, dressing rooms and toilets.
Many thanks to everyone who has supported the Trust by helping us fund this work or volunteering your time. As ever, we need more of money and volunteers, so if you can help with donations click here, or if you can help volunteer on matchdays or at the stadium in the week please contact us or pop into the club shop to speak to us on matchdays.
