at next City home games

Collecting at entrance to the TigerTurf Stadium:
Tuesday 12th December vs Peterborough Sports
Saturday 16th December vs Darlington
For the next three home games, Gloucester City Supporters’ Trust is pairing up with Gloucester Foodbank to collect donations for local people facing hardship in the run-up to Christmas.
Over the last five years, the number of emergency food parcels provided to people in crisis by food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network has increased by 73% and last year Gloucester Foodbank distributed 13,844 food parcels to our local community.
Gloucester Foodbank manager Anneliese Sterry said:
Every day, too many people are waking up without enough money to afford the basics – to feed their families, pay their bills, or keep warm. This simply isn’t right.
We’re here to help anyone who is facing hunger to get the support they need and welcome the chance to work with the city’s football club to make sure no-one in our community goes hungry.”
Supporters’ Trust chair Robin Mogg said:
Hunger doesn’t wear club colours. If you’re coming to either of our next two games, and you can afford it, please drop off some food or toiletries on the list below to help those struggling at what is a difficult time for many.
We’re proud this club, as always, comes together when we see our community in need.”

The Supporters’ Trust, in conjunction with Fans Supporting Foodbanks, will be collecting the following items at our games against Spennymoor on November 25th, Peterborough Sports on December 12th and Darlington on December 16th:
