Update on Fan Representative Meeting
with Club Board

20 February 2024

Gloucester City Supporters’ Trust chair Robin Mogg on Friday met with GCAFC general manager Jay Marriott, director Colin Taylor and Dave Herridge from the T-End Originals.

He was told the ownership of the cub remained unchanged: Alex Petheram and Eamonn McGurk were still the majority shareholders, although new directors had come on board and made significant investments.

Jay and Colin are thinking of incorporating more yellow in the first team kit next season. If any decision was made to change the colours, the fans would be surveyed.

The club shop, which is run by the Trust, is hoping to be moved to a more prominent position on the other side of the ground, between the clubhouse and the City Stand.

Robin also received assurances the issues with the disabled toilet and shortage of toilet roll in the ground had been addressed and would not happen again.

Robin Mogg said: “This was a positive meeting with a new team of directors – one which I hope bears fruit for the future.

“The Trust will work with the board to help the club try to avoid relegation this season while looking ahead to arrangements for next season, whichever league we find ourselves in.”
